Lightweight and flexible, fire protection gaskets for metal boxes can accommodate wires and cables by cutting holes where required. Trimmed to size to fit most socket boxes, with self-adhesive backing for easy application.

Intumescent gasket which adheres inside recessed metal boxes housing electrical wires. Suitable for either single or double socket boxes placed in brickwork, blockwork or plasterboard walls. An acoustic version of this gasket is also available.

FIRE TEST PERFORMANCE

Tested to BS476 Part 22 (1987) and achieved 4 hours in solid walls and 71 minutes in cavity walls. Achieved 90 minutes when tested to EN1364-1 2015.
